Tlouwana Camp

Tlouwana Camp

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Tlouwana Camp is about 20 minutes drive from the entrance to Chobe National Park giving you ample opportunity to experience those massive concentrations of elephants and general wildlife that make Chobe such a prime game viewing destination.

With seven safari tents and an impressive superior family tent, bedouin style, Tlouwana Camp is modest and welcoming. Owned and run by Luke Riggs and his family, you can expect a personal atmosphere. You'll be made to feel right at home from the onset.

Basic in its safari style with modern hints and bright bursts of colour that bring it all to life. Straightforward in design with stretched canvas roofs, an open-sided dining area allows you to enjoy your meals served with a good helping of the African bush that surrounds you. Great news since your stay is all inclusive and with the popular Chobe activities on offer plus local village tours and night drives, you’ll be out for most of the day and even at night if you wish.

Inside the Lesoma Valley Reserve, bordering on Zimbabwe, here you are inside the private Kasane Forest Reserve and 20-minutes drive from the gate into Chobe National Park. An area renowned for prolific wildlife sightings. A small, dense patch of forest that provides an important habitat for numerous animal and bird species. Look out for the favourites you'd see in the Chobe National Park, you're likely to spot them here too.
