Palmwag campsite is part of Palmwag Lodge, beside the Uniab River in North Western Namibia.

Firstly, stop off at reception and check in. The campsite has its own reception apart from the lodge.
Then make your way to your site. Good ablution blocks - shared.
There are a few rules: no generators, quiet time is between 2200 and 0700, fires must be in the pits and flames no higher than 2ft.
You can bring your dog but it must be kept on a lead.
You can use all the facilities at the lodge. But all meals and activities must be booked before arriving.
Elephants are known to wander through camp so have your wits about you.
This is the land famous for the desert elephant and black rhino; scenic drives; wildlife excursions; rhino tracking; guided walks (no children under 12).
Self-drive game and nature drives in the Palmwag Concession. An incredible way to explore the vast beauty of this incredible harsh landscape and a chance to view some of the amazing adapted wildlife that thrive here.
