Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Crafted into the boulders, the lodge blends into the surrounds effortlessly. Onduli Ridge is exquisite in design and interior. It’s all elegant, modern and sleek, yet there’s something about it that adds charm and character making it different, unique and memorable. Although the view alone is something you’ll never forget.

Your suite opens up entirely allowing you to take in as much of the incredible setting at all times. It’s a feature that leaves you feeling immersed in nature, yet with every luxury thought out. The muted palette allows the views beyond to set the scene as far as they eye can see. There are no distractions here. It’s pure bliss in ultimate comfort.

Located on the private Doro !Nawas Conservancy it’s remote and intimate. It’s a much needed addition to the area. Both in lifting the overall standard of the lodges found in these parts, since it’s easily Damaraland’s finest and in investing into the local communities. It’s a premium stay with a heart set on conservation of this incredible piece of land and the people that call this place home.

Doro !Nawas means ‘place where the rhinos roam’ in Khoekhoegowab. Don’t worry if you can’t pronounce the language or understand why there’s an exclamation at the start of a word. It’s for the very distinct click sound in the name. You’ll be hearing it a lot in these parts. The lodge itself gets its name from the resident giraffe of the area.

Besides the elusive black rhinos and desert-adapted elephants you have the chance to track, there’s also other wildlife out there including plains game and predators such as cheetah, leopard and spotted and brown hyena. This is untouched wilderness and it’s a privilege to be a part of it.

The landscape ahead is a succession of rolling foothills and widespread plains and in the distance, the highest inselberg in the country, Brandberg Mountain. To say the view is spectacular is an understatement. You could come back here for any number of reasons, the excellent food, world-class service or even the amenities of your suite, but we know the landscape will be the one reason you’d return time and time again. A view that vast never gets old.
