Built on the edge of Kwikamba Pan – the largest natural pan in the area – approximately 80km from Kasane, Nogatsaa Pans lodge sets the scene for thrilling wildlife adventures. With a cluster of natural clay pans that fill up during rainy season, as well as waterholes with raised hides, chances for phenomenal wildlife sightings are high.
The 12 strategically placed tented rooms, including two family tents, feature contemporary interiors and private viewing decks, from which you might spot hippos and elephants at sunrise.
Further expansive views await from the expansive wooden deck of the lodge and pool, where you can relax in-between game drives. Come evening, guests gather at the boma around a blazing fire to share their animal encounters and admire the starlit sky.
Twice-daily game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle will take you on an established road network along the Ngwezumba River, a remote area dotted with lookout hides, open grasslands, pans and waterholes. You’ll also meander through teak forests, which makes for thrilling game viewing and birding. Sundowner drives, stargazing, private dinners, and spa treatments further add to the experience.
