Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Tucked away in the remote Chobe Enclave, Hideaways Camp Kuzuma offers an intimate safari experience in a remarkable wilderness that borders both Chobe National Park and Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. Set within a vital wildlife corridor and ancient elephant migratory route, the camp enjoys exceptional game viewing across vast open plains and Mopane woodland.

Elevated under a canopy of trees, the 7 tented suites feature canvas walls, classic furnishings and carefully curated memorabilia. Private decks overlook the bushveld, while ensuite bathrooms include deep Victorian soaking tubs and indoor and outdoor showers. The main area centres around a rim-flow pool and deck overlooking a well-frequented watering hole, where elephants and other wildlife gather throughout the day.

Days begin with the distant rhythm of drums and unfold into immersive Big Five safari experiences led by knowledgeable guides, as well as the opportunity to explore the area on a Chobe River cruise. Back at the lodge, a sunken firepit and aromatherapy massages in the spa tent invite relaxed afternoons, while evenings unfold with boma dinners under the stars.

Activities

Guided game drives in open vehicles reveal the richness of the Chobe Enclave, while expert guides share deep insight into the region’s fauna and flora. A highlight of any stay is a boat cruise along the Chobe River, where hippos and crocodiles line the banks and elephants are often seen wading through the water. Back at camp, the ever-active watering hole provides rewarding wildlife viewing throughout the day.ph
