Set within Madikwe Game Reserve, Jaci's Private Lodge offers a choice of spacious Safari Suites and exclusive-use villas, making it equally well suited to couples, families and larger groups travelling together.
Following an extensive rebuild, the lodge has been redesigned with a fresh contemporary feel while maintaining its strong connection to the surrounding bushveld. Accommodation ranges from intimate suites for two to Jaci’s Madikwe House, which sleeps up to ten guests.
Designed for couples and adult travellers, the six Safari Suites offer plenty of space, privacy and uninterrupted views into Madikwe Game Reserve.
Each suite has a private viewing deck where you can relax between safari activities and watch the surrounding bush. Inside, warm natural finishes and generous living spaces create a comfortable retreat after a morning or afternoon game drive.
The main sleeping area can be arranged with either a king-size bed or twin beds and the en-suite bathroom includes both a bath and shower.
Guests staying in the Safari Suites have access to the lodge's central swimming pool and communal facilities.
Four of the Safari Suites can also be configured as Safari Suite Expeditions, making them particularly suitable for families travelling with younger children.
The suite itself retains the same layout, private deck and bush views as the standard Safari Suites, but its sunken L-shaped lounge can be converted into two comfortable Little Expedition Beds for children aged 12 and under.
Each Safari Suite Expedition can therefore accommodate up to two adults and two children.
The main bed can be arranged as a king or twins and the en-suite bathroom includes both a bath and shower. When the additional children's beds are not required, the sunken lounge remains a spacious relaxation area.
Overlooking the Marico River, Kubu Villa is an exclusive-use safari villa sleeping up to six guests in three en-suite bedrooms.
All three bedrooms can be configured with either king-size or twin beds and each has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.
The villa includes its own lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and safari bar, with generous outdoor living spaces overlooking the riverine bushveld.
Outside you'll find a decked lounge, fire pit, loungers, daybed and private heated plunge pool.
Kubu Villa comes with its own dedicated team as well as a private safari vehicle and guide, allowing safari activities and daily schedules to be tailored to your group.
Nare Villa is another exclusive-use option for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to six guests and overlooking its own private waterhole.
The villa has three en-suite bedrooms. Two can be configured with either king-size or twin beds and have bathrooms with a bath, shower and WC. The third is a loft bedroom, also available as a king or twin configuration, with an en-suite shower room and its own private balcony.
Shared areas include a lounge and dining room, fully equipped kitchen and safari bar.
Outside, there's a dedicated dining area, decked lounge with fire pit and a private heated plunge pool overlooking the surrounding bush and waterhole.
Guests at Nare Villa have their own dedicated team including a private guide, safari vehicle, chef and host.
Sleeping up to ten guests, Jaci’s Madikwe House is the lodge's largest exclusive-use accommodation and works particularly well for extended families, multi-generational groups or friends travelling together.
The house has five en-suite bedrooms along with expansive indoor and outdoor living areas and sweeping views across Madikwe Game Reserve.
Four bedrooms are located within the main house, while a separate cottage bedroom offers additional privacy for couples, grandparents, older children or other members of the group who would prefer their own space.
The master bedroom can be arranged as a king or twin room and includes an indoor fireplace, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower as well as an outdoor bath and shower.
Three further guest bedrooms can also be arranged as king or twins and have their own en-suite bathrooms, with one additionally featuring an outdoor shower.
The separate cottage bedroom has a king or twin bed arrangement, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, outdoor shower, mini fridge, tea and coffee station and private deck.
Communal areas include a fully equipped kitchen, safari bar, dining room and lounge with fireplace, as well as the Pangolin Room workspace.
Outside you'll find spacious dining and lounge areas, a wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, pizza oven and private plunge pool.
Jaci’s Madikwe House also comes with its own dedicated guide and safari vehicle, chef, host and hospitality team, giving your group plenty of flexibility to plan each day around your own interests and pace.
The main lodge provides relaxed communal spaces where guests staying in the Safari Suites can unwind between safari activities.
Indoor and outdoor lounge and dining areas make the most of the surrounding bush setting, while the central swimming pool offers somewhere to cool off during the warmer part of the day.
