Amadeus House

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Formerly called Amadeus Garden, this longstanding favourite is not far from the thunderous Victoria Falls action – with the entrance only 2.6km away – while also being a quiet refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. Simple in style, the casual, privately run bed & breakfast has everything you might need, and offers a warm welcome by the owner and her staff.

Following a day of adventure visiting the Falls or cruising on the Zambezi River, cool off with a dip in the pool and lounge under the thatched gazebo in the lush courtyard, or seek shade in the verdant gardens.

The 12 spacious guest rooms comprise 6 poolview rooms and 4 garden wing rooms, while upstairs you’ll find an interconnecting family room and a triple room – both come with views of the front garden and patio.

Breakfast is included in the rate and is usually served by the pool, with a bar menu on offer 24/7, and dinner available to pre-order.

Activities

One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world, Victoria Falls is the main reason for visiting the area, and seeing the powerful water crescendo up close is the experience of a lifetime. Explore the Falls on your own, strolling along the footpaths and visiting the various viewpoints, or book a guided tour for a more comprehensive overview. For a magnificent bird’s-eye view, helicopter flights can also be arranged. Other thrilling activities include white water rafting, and sunset and dinner cruises on the Zambezi River, as well as a Chobe Park safari to spot the region’s famed elephant herds.
