With 23 river-facing chalets and 25 rooms in total, the lodge is large by local standards and the atmosphere is casual and friendly without unnecessary adornments or excess ceremony. Each chalet has a view over the river, an en suite bathroom and all-important mosquito nets to ensure a good night's rest after a long day's activity.
The living area, with equally sublime aspect, has a small pool, a glorious sun deck, a well-used bar and a restaurant serving a buffet spread. The area features lush riverine floodplains and a profusion of birds, semi-aquatic animals and plains game. For a more rustic approach, Namushasha Lodge also offers camp sites and full use of the main lodge.
Fishing and sunset boat trips, game drives, hiking trail, birdwatching, visit to local village and craft centre, game viewing in the nearby Bwabwata, Mudumu and Mamili Game Parks
