2km outside of the town of Springbok, half way between Cape Town and Windhoek. A farm style environment ideal for children. Simple, homely, easy to find. Always a bonus on a road trip.

Ideal for families and those with pets in tow, Daisy Country Lodge is only one hour’s drive from the Namibian border. A good option if you are travelling between Namibia and South Africa or vice versa. There’s plenty to do here, whether at the lodge or exploring the surrounds.
The farm-style environment is welcoming and homely. The food is home cooked and the hospitality, generous. The views are spectacular and the setting is peaceful. Combined the makings for a great overnight stop.
The rooms are spacious and cover all the necessities. The décor is a mix of old farmhouse meets modern guesthouse bordering gaudy, yet strangely comforting. It’s what you’d expect of a typical country lodge and it works.
In the heart of the Namaqualand, you can stay here to visit the daisies. When they’re in bloom from mid-July to September. The rest of the year is equally scenic and outstandingly tranquil.
This is a stunning area. You can walk in the surrounding koppies. Go cycling and horse riding.
Or just explore the Namaqua National Park. Check out the Goegap Nature Reserve, Blue Mine, Monument Koppies.
This land = nice. Richtersveld is a World Heritage Site.
