Inside the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park near Victoria Falls, Sussi Lodge and its two private retreats, Chuma Villas, are the most luxurious and exclusive lodges on the Zambian side of the Falls.

Sussi Lodge and Chuma Villas are on the edge of the Zambezi River, rustic in all the right places and truly decadent everywhere else. Shaggy thatch roofing, crazy-paving cobblestones surround a graceful timber structure that salutes its surroundings of wild grasses and magnificent ebony trees - favoured delicacies of your nightly visitors, the elephants and hippos.

Fear not for the hippos or elephants, your tree-house suite is a sanctuary from all things wild and a haven for all things civilised. Your elevated view of the Zambezi in silent force and the river forest is sensational. The 12 tree-suites at Sussi Lodge are fully en suite with air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, mini-bars and a beautiful balcony view. Chuma consists of two separate two-bedroomed villas, each with private butler and chef and the ultimate in personalised luxury and private intimacy. The views are the same though.

Included: tour of Victoria Falls from Zambian side; morning and sunset Zambezi River cruises; guided game drives. Essential extras: scenic flight; tour of Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side. Optional extras: safari activities; adventure activities; cultural activities; scenic activities.

Dining is a table d'hôte experience under the stars, beside the river and with a large campfire making the light dance into the night. A pool leads your eye to the river and both Sussi Lodge and the the Chuma Villas have an on-call massage therapist. Inclusive daily activities are the essential guided tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambian side, river cruises, game drives and cultural tours. In between, Victoria Falls is a world of activity options.
