Splash Camp offers modern and elite, luxury accommodation. A combination of wood finishes with greys throughout and shades of blue, more what you’d expect in décor of a fashionable city apartment. It’s beautiful. Not your usual style for a classic safari camp, so if that’s what you’re after, this isn’t for you. If you looking for a true safari experience however, then this is for sure the place. Not necessarily safari in style, but definitely safari in heart offering one of the best Okavango Delta experiences to be had.
The camp name is derived from the area, which is known as Splash, due to the huge water crossings that have to be negotiated to get into camp. An area comprised of extensive bush surrounded by permanent water and seasonal flood plains. A labyrinth of water ways and secluded islands. True Okavango Delta.
An intimate camp of only 12 rooms in a horse shoe formation around a pan, all views looking out onto a waterhole. The main area is built around a central tree with wooden decks and walk ways. A relaxed and authentic camp with a pleasant atmosphere and a true wildlife experience to boast.
Splash Enclave can be booked on an exclusive basis. The actual rooms are those of Splash Camp but with a private satellite main area, plunge pool, dining area and lounge, it’s like having your own private camp to yourself. Ideal for families or small groups accommodating a minimum of 6 adults and maximum of 10. An intimate camp experience with no age restrictions and private use of facilities.
Inside a private concession, this camp offers all the activities you can expect in the Okavango Delta to have a real Okavango Delta experience and adventure.
Game drives; night drives; mokoro excursions; seasonal fishing (prohibited in January & February); walking safaris and boat cruises including a visit to the heronries at Godikwe and Gcobega Lagoons.
A wet/dry lodge, this camp offers both water and land based activities year round with access to permanent water channels.
Game drives are conducted by guide and tracker teams so you are guaranteed an incredible safari and wildlife experience with a good chance to view predators. Vehicles take a maximum of 6 people per vehicle, which means a window seat for all guests. A private vehicle is required for parties with children under the age of 12.
