In addition to four of the big 5, elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo, you have a chance to encounter over 100 other mammal species and nearly 400 different birds.

Take your pick dining in one of two restaurants and the cocktail list is rather impressive too. Great news for when you find yourself pool side midday or as the day draws to a close and you salute the African sun overlooking the waterhole. A good night’s rest and you’ll be happy to rise early to do it all again in the morning. A safari experience that rivals the best.

Activities

Daytime and night game drives are conducted in open safari vehicles into Hwange National Park. Safari is what you came here for. Join as many drives as you can and relax overlooking the waterhole when in camp.

A nearby potter village offers unique local made gifts and momentos to take home.

If you wish to see the well-known painted dogs then a visit to the nearby Dete to visit the animal sanctuary guarantees an encounter.

For something different and special, request a bush dinner and enjoy a buffet spread beneath the stars. A romantic setting surrounded by the wilderness. Sounds like just as much an activity to be scheduled in along with your game drives and allotted time to put your feet up.
