This 11-day privately guided journey took a couple on a seamless exploration of Namibia’s iconic highlights, travelling with Waylon, an experienced NTS guide, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. With every detail taken care of, the trip allowed them to fully relax and immerse themselves in the ever-changing landscapes.
The route flowed from Windhoek into the vast Namib Desert, where time was spent exploring the dunes and taking in the stillness of the desert, before continuing to the coastal town of Swakopmund for a refreshing change of scenery. From there, the journey moved into the rugged beauty of Damaraland and on to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha, offering a well-balanced mix of scenery, culture and safari experiences.
Highlights included climbing the iconic Dune 45 - a personal achievement and memorable moment - as well as the striking desert landscapes and the contrast between regions that make Namibia so unique. Throughout the journey, attentive guiding and thoughtful planning ensured a smooth and deeply enjoyable experience.
