Yes, Namibia is one of the safest countries in Africa. Great news, but if you have no idea how safe the rest of Africa is, then that doesn’t mean much does it? To give it to you simply, Namibia has a low crime rate in comparison and is in general safe throughout, however as in all countries there will always be some level of crime (mostly petty crime in Namibia) and therefore we always recommend being careful, taking all necessary precautions and being alert and aware at all times.
