The lodge’s 3 Pool Suites come with private plunge pools, while the 3 Bush Suites overlook a watering hole and feature a romantic star bath. With 2 ensuite bedrooms, the Family Villa is perfect for a family getaway or couples travelling together. Take in panoramic views of the Kalahari through transparent netting, which creates a natural flow of air to the private lounge and bedrooms.
Sitting on raised decks at the edge of a woodland, each suite is positioned for privacy and uninterrupted views. Built with wood, clay and thatch, the open-air structures balance minimalism with comfort, allowing the sights, sounds and stillness of the Kalahari to take centre stage.
In-between game drives, play a round of tennis, cool off with a dip in the pool, and relax with spa treatments. The evening drive might also end with a lantern-lit bush dinner in a secret location. For a special night away, sleep out in the romantic star bed.
Apart from twice-daily game drives, you can explore the desert on special fat bikes that are designed to glide over the sandy terrain. Feline Lodge’s collaboration with the local Bushman communities offers rare encounters with one of Africa’s oldest cultures, while an optional fly-camp may include the chance to witness – or even take part in – the powerful Bushman Trance Dance. Guided walking safaris, horseback safaris, bush golf, and visits to the Cqwihaba Caves – a World Heritage Site – complete the varied offering.
