Tim has been a guide since 1994 which makes him one of the most well-known in the industry. There are only a handful of guides who have been guiding for as long as he has and even fewer who still do it with as much passion.
He loves being out in nature and exploring the wilderness, especially in the most remote areas of Namibia. Untouched and untamed is Tim’s thing. His favourite spots are Kaokoland, Damaraland and the Caprivi. Each one, the epitome of "in the middle of nowhere”.
Camera in hand, he’s always ready for adventure and to head off to some place no one else has likely ever been, which is almost everywhere in Namibia if you head off the beaten track. Tim loves to camp, but if he had to pick staying in a lodge, it would be at Jackalberry or Nkasa Lupala.
He has extensive knowledge and years of experience to share, which is why having Tim on tour is gold. Well, that and the fact that he is a genuinely nice guy in his quiet and reserved manner.
