It’s a 10 minute walk to the centre of Windhoek so you can go into the city but you don’t really need to. And to be honest, if you’ve just spent an age headlamp cooking in the bush, you’ll appreciate the chance to slump down and watch someone else brown your dinner on the braai.
This place is clean, functional and in a quiet, residential but urban area of town. Close to a petrol station which is always a plus.
There are 28 en suite rooms with an arty, funky feel - huge birth stones on the wall of one room, a car mural on another.
Single rooms, twins and room 19 which is the family room with twin beds and a sleeper couch and ideal for two adults and 2 children under twelve. Although if they’re sharing that sleeper couch you might want to check they haven’t just had a growth spurt.
On the ground floor you’ll have a private patio. Some rooms on the top floor have a balcony.
There’s a splash of swimming pool, a bit like a big paddling pool - the kids will love it. Stick your feet in after a long drive and you’ll love it too.
Outdoor dining; fireplace; free internet; free WiFi; flatscreen TV; laundry service; air conditioning; tea and coffee making facilities; hairdryer
All that Windhoek has to offer is within walking distance but even better a shorter taxi drive away.
