The twelve tented chalets are built on raised wooden decks around large boulders with tented walls and roof to cool the interiors, which have en suite bathrooms, enormous beds and an open-air shower.
The main lodge on another granite outcrop faces the valley; its verandah, pool and luxurious lounge overlook a waterhole and invite you to relax and soak up the peace. Dinner is a plated three-course meal with carefully selected wines and the fully stocked bar is always on hand.

Activities in the Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy include walks, drives and excellent birding with your two locally-recruited guides. Optional extras include visits to rock painting sites and a number of activities in the delightful town of Omaruru.
