Accommodation in Namibia tends to be of good value when compared with the rest of southern Africa. Choices range from standard international chain hotels to small independent hotels and lodges.
Camping is a popular option in Namibia and many of the lodges have a few sites as an alternative. The government campsites and bungalows are functional if a little uninspiring but they do have the benefit of prime locations, the three inside Etosha National Park being a good example.
