On the way: The vast Kalahari Basin covers several countries in southern Africa and it stretches as far the eye can squint. Drive through or fly over villages dotted about this vast and empty wilderness.
When you're there: Edo's Camp overlooks a waterhole in a private reserve packed with African wildlife including white rhino, large herds of antelope, plains game and plenty of predators. Animals that thrive in the Kalahari are not found in the north of Botswana, notable species include gemsbok, springbok, hartebeest, brown hyena and meerkats.
Edo's Camp is a small and intimate safari lodge with personal service and a unique setting. The private reserve is owned by a foreign philanthropist and Stephan Lewis built the four-suited lodge on the edge of Edo's Pan. Stephan's nephew, Stephan, is your personal guide his knowledge of the area reaches into the impossible dialect of the San; his trackers, China (a San villager) and Ivan, offer depth and insight into the ways of the ancient people in this ancient land.

I heard about Africa Tours & Safaris through a friend and I was greatly surprised by the quality of its services. Edward helped me from day one with my tailor-made holidays, and suggested new ways and ideas to optimize my time and money. Thanks to his advises we drove through Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia with a limited budget and with as few as 5 days. I highly recommend Namibia Tours and Safaris for your next holidays planning: you can expect an answer from their consultants in a few hours, they deal with companies all over Southern Africa, and their commission is very little
Charles knows about all (little) animals, culture, history and is full of humour. Paulus was a great help and a good cook!
Would definitely book a future holiday and will recommend to anyone planning to visit. Thanks for a brilliant holiday.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Namibia and hope to return next year. Augustinus made the trip worthwhile and am looking forward to my return under his guidance.
General impression... Superior! Augustinus was knowledgeable, creative and skilled. I would travel with him any time, anywhere!
It was as if we took 2 safaris at once, one for the animals and one for the birds. Augustinus's keen eye and alertness was phenomenal. He is a real gentleman with a stout attitude towards life. Wonderful country. Friendly people, clean, great food. A true delight!
Many thanks for a wonderful trip.
