Tour Brief
Spend two nights in Victoria Falls, exploring this Natural Wonder of the World and soaking up the spray and splendour of this magnificent realm.
This relaxing three-day sojourn is an ideal add-on to start or end your safari to Botswana, Zambia or Namibia.
Of course, it doesn’t all have to be sedate. In fact there there can’t be a more effective way to get your mind off work than free-falling off a bridge into a 100-metre deep chasm; or plunging headlong into grade 5 river rapid. Activities around Victoria Falls are numerous and range from serene to stir-crazy with massages in the forest to gut-churning gorge swings above the Zambezi River.
From Victoria Falls and Livingstone you can fly direct to and from Johannesburg and we can easily link up Victoria Falls with a safari in the neighbouring countries.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 and 2: Victoria Falls
From Victoria Falls International Airport your hotel transfer is a short and comfortable ride. Keep an eye out for the legendary smoking thunder - the mist that rises from the forest to the accompanying of a mighty roar.
Relax, unwind, take a dip in the pool, enjoy a leisurely lunch on the terrace and, why yes, why not indulge in an afternoon snooze.
Or take part in some of our recommended activities: the flight of angels, elephant-back safaris, white water rafting, walk with lions, safari in Chobe or Victoria Falls Naional Park, bungee jumping, gorge swinging, starlit dinner on the Zambezi, lunch on Livingstone Island, swim in Devil’s Pools, canoeing safaris and a pampering spa.
In high water time you’ll need a raincoat and umbrella; take along some waterproof sandwich bags to protect your camera from the spray and explore this unique rain forest where in the parts closest to the falls, the spray rains all day all year round.
Over a mile wide, Victoria Falls is the worlds largest single sheet of falling water. The narrow chasm creates a boiling trough of white water and the sheer curtain of tumbling water gives has a vertiginous effect that will have you clinging to the rickety rails despite the obvious absence of danger.
It is possible, and recommended, to visit the falls from both sides - Zambia and Zimbabwe. Both offer spectacular views in contrasting proximity to the falls.
You’ll have several dinner options and we’ll be happy to recommend if you don’t fancy taking a chance.
