More... for the five-hour drive to the Namib-Naukluft Lodge, a private reserve near Solitaire in the Namib-Naukluft Park.

Drive to Sossusvlei and hike up the dunes for a spectacular sunrise view of the Great Sand Sea; explore the pans and dunes; breakfast at Sossusvlei; visit Sesriem Canyon on your way back to the lodge. In the evening you can opt for a scenic sundowner drive to the marble mountains that overlook the ancient desert.
