Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 and 2: Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta
Depending on the season, your transfer to the Okavango Delta may involve any combination of driving, flying and boating.
On the way: Whichever way you approach it, the Okavango Delta opens up slowly to reveal its vast, watery wilderness. The land changes from open acacia savannah to lush islands with broad-leafed and riparian woodlands, towering palms and thickets of impenetrable bush.
When you're there: Your first Okavango Delta safari stop is in the Moremi Game Reserve with a combination of land- and water-based safari activities. Morning and afternoon game drives on the floodplains are punctuated by delta-boat safaris through the channels and waterways of the Okavango.
Camp Moremi is situated on the edge of a lagoon in the delta; your tented room has a private balcony overlooking the action and the main lodge has a large game viewing deck and a comfortable lounge and living area.
Wildlife in the Moremi Game Reserve is prolific including lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and plenty of antelope including the rare red lechwe. Birding is superb with hundreds of species on record, plenty of specials and some renowned birding spots.

Day 3 and 4: Nxarahga Island, Okavango Delta
Transfer by boat to the permanent waters of Camp Okavango.
On the way: The boat transfer is a beautiful extended water safari that takes you deep into the delta through channels and across lagoons fringed with palms, papyrus and wildlife.
When you're there: Camp Okavango is on an island surrounded by permanent water. Activities here are water safaris on delta boats and the evocative mokoro (dug-out canoe) safaris; guided walking safaris explore the islands' intricate ecosystems.
Camp Okavango has hammocks dotted about the island and an elevated game viewing deck. Here, life takes a slow turn soaking up the serene tranquillity and allowing you to unwind and take stock.
Wildlife in this part of the delta is more of the water-loving type: elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, smaller antelope and an amazing variety and number of birds.

Day 5 and 6: Savuti, Chobe National Park
Transfer by boat and road or air and road to yet another radically different game viewing safari setting: the Savuti Channel in Chobe National Park.
On the way: After a brief glimpse of semi-civilisation you'll be plunged back into Africa's beautiful wilderness.
When you're there: Overlooking a waterhole in the Savuti Channel, Savute Safari Lodge is on permanent safari alert playing host to great concentrations of plains game: lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and many smaller nocturnal predators; elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and a plentiful supply of antelopes with impressive variety.
Savute Safari Lodge offers guided game drives along the Savuti Channel and into the Savuti Marshes; birding is excellent at the waterhole in front of your tented room and the main lodge.

Day 7 and 8: Chobe River, Chobe National Park
From the dry open grasslands of Savuti to the lush riverside of the Chobe River, your safari continues to provide striking contrasts, beautiful settings and amazing wildlife and birdlife. Transfer by air or road depending on the season to Chobe Savannah Lodge on the Namibian side of the Chobe River.
On the way: It's all game drive from here as you cross the Chobe River into the Caprivi on the Namibian side of Chobe National Park – your view across the river is directly into the park.
When you're there: The Chobe River attracts earth's greatest concentration of elephant. Knee-deep in the gentle river's flooded plains, elephants nibble in numbers on the juicy jackalberry and mangosteen trees that tower above the ground with huge dense canopies.
The schedule of activities at Chobe Savannah Lodge is flexible and varied with optional motor boat safaris, canoeing safaris, guided walks, fishing, sunset river cruises and game drives into Chobe National Park on offer at a time and frequency that suits you.
In addition to huge elephant herds, the Chobe area has good numbers of plains game including buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, large and small antelope and plenty of predators including lion, leopard, wild dog and hyena. Thanks to the river, birdlife is prolific with over 400 species on record including Pel's fishing owl and African Fish Eagle.

Day 9 and 10: Victoria Falls
From Chobe you will have a fly/drive transfer to Victoria Falls either on the Zimbabwean side or the Zambian side.
On the way: Clear customs and immigration and proceed through the game reserves on either side of the Zambezi River to your safari lodge.
When you're there: Victoria Falls is accessible from both Zambia and Zimbabwe. Both sides offer excellent hotels and safari lodges and a great view of the falls. Both sides are safe and standards are still high in Zimbabwe. Despite that country's economic and political problems, Victoria Falls remains a safe and accessible destination and an essential addition to any African safari.
Your Travel Expert will provide up-to-date advice about visiting Victoria Falls before you travel and if the security level is threatened we will not hesitate to intervene and re-arrange your travel plans as necessary.
Victoria Falls is an exciting hive of activity. After a day spent exploring the beautiful waterfalls area – one of seven natural wonders of the world – it's time for some action. A scenic flight over the falls is amazing and the sunset river cruises are a must; walking safaris with lions and elephants are popular highlights and there are many adventure activities available for the young-at-heart including excellent white water rafting and canoeing safaris.
Spend two days exploring Victoria Falls and either cramming in the activities or relaxing in your safari lodge with a beautiful view, a cool drink and the wonderful African weather. We would like to commend the high service received from Namibian Tours and Safaris especially taking into account the short length of time you had to arrange this holiday for us. The recommendations and itinerary were ideal with the majority of our stay in each location being the right duration. The whole process of booking this holiday was hassle free and we would not hesitate in recommending your services to others.
We would specifically like to thank you, Alison, for all of your hard work which resulted in a truly fabulous holiday for us. Also, it was great to meet up with you in Solitaire where you expressed so much love for your country and this was clearly mirrored in the schedule and service you presented to us allowing us to experience this fantastic country. It will not be the case of 'if' we return to Namibia, it is more the case of 'when' we will return as we enjoyed it so much.
A special mention for Edward he did a super job – vouchers and maps were with our car hire agency at the airport – book presentation of whole trip was clear, easy to follow and complete. He even gave us his mobile No in case we encounter some problems. Really to recommend as Tour Operator and will use them again next time.
Road – all went well and thanks to have recommended a 4Wheel Drive Car – due to rough road conditions we appreciated – you could do it with a normal car and met tourists with B type cars but they took much longer for the journeys – had more issues with flat tyres and most admitted next time they will take a 4Wheel Drive Car.
Would like to thank you for all your time spent and hard work to find best places, difficult tasks due to budget restrictions. I will recommend you and your agency whenever I can – actually already did in Joburg – hope brings you some new customers - and of course will come to you for my next trip this time to South Africa hopefully in 2012.
Dear Wilmari,
Back home and I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for planning a perfect vacation for us. I was especially pleased that for the accommodation with dinner all knew about my allergies and cooked accordingly. The Cheetah experience made my daughter very happy and they were so kind to not even charge me for taking pictures.
Highlight of our trip was the stay in
The Fort

I cannot recommend to anybody (fined for driving on their property and below average dinner buffet) and also the Olivia Guesthouse was a letdown when it came to the food (lunch and breakfast).
I have posted some pictures on Flickr, maybe you want to have a look and I'm always happy to read comments.
Last but not least: Could you please send us the itinerary you prepared for us and we received at arrival electronically? Some of my friends are interested to book the same trip with you.
