Accommodation options have paired down (without compromising on comfort) to offer the same amazing safari in the same amazing parks but without breaking the bank in the process.
Visit two distinct areas of the Okavango, one surrounded by water overlooking Chief's Island, the other on the edge of the Khwai River in a community reserve on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve.
From the delta you visit Chobe National Park, home to more elephants than you can imagine and a host of fascinating wildlife; from Chobe it's a short transfer to Victoria Falls and a romantic end to a memorable African safari.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 and 2: Okavango Delta
Arrive in Maun and transfer by light aircraft over the delta to Moremi Crossing. Your aerial perspective of the delta provides the scale that your water-level view cannot comprehend.
Moremi Crossing is on an island linked to Chief's Island in the Okavango Delta's Moremi Game Reserve. The lodge is a model of eco-construction with solar power and advanced waste management. Newly built, the rooms and quality of this lodge coupled with its magnificent setting turn affordable comfort into surprising luxury.
Accommodation comprises en suite Meru suites with tented roofs and wooden deck floors; each has a view of the beautiful waterway and islands around.
Moremi Crossing is a classic water camp. Access from the airstrip is by boat and activities include the sublime mokoro safari where your guide poles you gently through the shallow channels exploring this fascinating wonderworld. Guided walking safaris offer a new dimension to the water-based experience and in high-water periods a bit of a motor on your boat is yet another way to experience the delta.

Day 3 and 4: Okavango Delta
After your morning game viewing and breakfast, transfer by light aircraft to the Khwai River where the Khwai River community lives with and protects its own wildlife in a pioneering conservation programme.
The small, four-roomed, tented camp offers a close communion with the Delta's wilderness. Situated along the Khwai River, the surrounding area is mostly grassland offering a land-based Okavango Delta safari to compliment the water-based safari of the previous two nights.
Accommdation is simple and comfortable with en suite bathrooms in Meru-style tented suites and a tranquil nature-loving setting.
Activities focus on the wildlife with plenty of animals to see both on foot, on guided game drives and night drives. Animals to see include elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, eland, sable, hippo, hyena and fascinating other nocturnal species.

Day 5 and 6: Chobe National Park
The languid routine continues as you breakfast after your morning's game viewing activity and board a short charter flight to Kasane where you will be collected and driven to Kubu Lodge on the Chobe River.
Kubu Lodge is a charming lodge on the edge of the river. Hidden by dense riverside trees and surrounded by a beautiful lush garden, Kubu Lodge has 11 individual thatched chalets on stilts and tranquil home-made comfort abounds.
Enjoy another two nights in the deep shade of wild fig and ebony trees while the Chobe River glides silently beneath your chilled "sundowner" drink. Kubu Lodge offers amazing water safaris where you glide right up to elephants, buffalo and plains herds; you will also enjoy game drives into Chobe National Park, which has the world's largest concentration of elephant, the gamut of African wildlife and uncountable birds.

Game drive/water safari. Breakfast. Hour-long road transfer to Victoria Falls. The fun continues as your hotel is situated on the edge of the Zambezi within the Victoria Falls park offering unlimited access to one of the world's greatest natural wonders.
Activities abound in and around Vic Falls and Zambezi Sun Hotel has, among its many facilities, a comprehensive activity booking centre where you can fill up every minute of your time in Victoria Falls with calm or crazy things to do. It's up to you.
Walk around the falls' rain forest across the gorge with the roar of a gazillion tonnes of water, constant mist swirling into rain and the sheer 100-metre drop forming the largest curtain of falling water on Earth. An exhilarating experience.
A boat cruise on the Zambezi coincides with sunset, snacks and chilled drinks the plumes of spray in the distance a not-so-subtle reminder of where you are.
