Situated inside the South Luangwa Park, Wildlife Camp is a charming and casual mish-mash of chalets, tented camp, campsite and a satellite Bush Camp for overnight walking safaris.
Life at the camp revolves around the wild and wonderful wildlife of the South Luangwa National Park - home of the walking safari and one of Africa's unspoilt game reserves.
Wildlife Camp offers a choice of straight-forward camping, a pre-erected tented camp, en suite chalets and a semi-permanent bush camp operating as a fully-serviced mobile camp for walking safaris.
The chalets are spacious, clean and comfortable with hot running water, cool thatched roofs and a private balcony. The tented camp comprises just five tented rooms, beneath a thatched gazebo for extra coolness, all en suite with splendid open-air showers, flushing toilets and a front porch overlooking the Luangwa River. A safari vehicle takes you to and from the restaurant and entertainment area.
Meals and stories are served in the main lodge restaurant and the bar on the edge of the river - a scene of much wildlife activity. Warthogs Wallow serves a fine Mozi (Zambian lager) with a casual and frequently festive atmosphere, though tempo never quite reaches the fever pitch of city life - something to do with the inescapable peace and tranquility of the heady African bush.
Rates from US$150-250 – all inclusive except bar and laundry

Sample some of the food dishes, browse the markets, buy some genuine African craftwork and just hang out and enjoy the easy life of Africa.
