For proximity to the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi Sun cannot be beaten. The Zambezi River flows past your doorstep and spews forth its thundering spray just 500m from the hotel.

Aimed at families, conferencers and casual vacationers, the Zambezi Sun is a large, bright and breezy resort hotel with a range of accommodation options from standard to suite. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower, air conditioning, satellite (cable) TV, safes and telephones. Most have private balconies - we'll do our best to secure one for you - with a view of the river and the spray.

Dining is a brazen theatrical affair with chefs on display and vast quantities of food in a buffet style; there is an a la carte grillhouse if you're not into the whole sizzling, steaming, flaming cookathon. A sedate outdoor cafè works the daytime shift with light lunches and a somewhat less meaty theme.

Activities

The Zambezi Sun has an activity centre for guests of both this hotel and its pricey neighbour - the imposing Royal Livingstone. If it can be done in Vic Falls, the activity centre will book it for you, making your personal daily arrangements so much easier. And of course, being a short walk from the falls, you can explore and discover one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World at leisure.
