Villa Verdi is a boutique guesthouse designed by André and Carolee Louw of Kulula Desert Lodge, Mowani Mountain Camp and Onguma fame. Although the décor and ambience looks and feels expensive, the rates are surprisingly reasonable.

The guesthouse has 13 standard rooms, 3 apartments and a luxury suite. Each room has been given individual treatment with a style and elegance that takes its cue from the different ethnic groups of Namibia.

The pool is the focal point of the guesthouse and its thatched gazebo has sumptuous wicker sofas and wafting muslin drapes that transport the recliner to a Balinese daydream.

Breakfast is in an open-air courtyard café and dinners are a gourmet feast beneath another thatched gazebo beside the pool.
