Accommodation Description

Okapuka Ranch is an ideal stop between long-haul flights and long-drives at the start and end of your Namibian holiday. Situated 30km north of Windhoek en route to Etosha and the north, and Swakopmund and the west, the lodge provides comfortable accommodation, good food, and a healthy dose of Africa's wilderness and wildlife.

The lodge has 20 rooms, 16 of which were added along with an enormous thatched lapa - by the end of your holiday you'll know all about those, a charming wine cellar and a honeymoon suite. All have en suite bathrooms, mini-bars, telephones and a private terrace. The décor features local art, Namibian karakul wool carpets, and a complete absence of trophies.

The ranch is 14,000ha of mountains and savannah woodland plains. A variety of mammals have been re-introduced including rhino, kudu, eland, roan, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, crocodiles, and a pair of rescued lions that have since sired five litters.
