Accommodation Description

Amani Lodge, 20km south of Windhoek, is a small and intimate lodge that boasts the highest altitude and the largest telescope in Namibia.

The comfortable chalets make the most of the lodge's lofty position as does the living area, which has a an open-sided lapa that houses the restaurant and bar, a large patio and a swimming pool.

Food is a focal point and the first passion of Alain Houalet who owns and runs the lodge; the second being stargazing. The lodge also runs a medical project, run by Olivier Houalet, that rescues big cats and, if possible, returns them to the wild.

Amani Lodge will provide a suitably dramatic start or end to your Namibia holiday, its location ensures an extra night of peace and tranquillity.
