Accommodation Description
The Sea-View Hotel was built in 1996, making it one of Lüderitz's latest hospitality additions. The hotel is small, comfortable and in an excellent location on the edge of town overlooking the harbour and bay.
Each of the 22 rooms has an en suite bathroom and comfortable furnishings. The décor of the rooms is somewhat similar to the functional chain hotels of southern Africa, but the location and view make this a unique experience.
The courtyard is a double-volume solarium that is shielded from the persistent wind and has a heated pool as its centre-piece. The sauna is tucked away in a back garden that is surrounded by palm and banana trees. The bar and lounge face the bay and the sunset; the restaurant opens into the courtyard and looks out to the harbour and the source of your delicious meal. The menu is full of fresh seafood options. As with any self-respecting Namibian restaurant, game meats also feature.
