Nowhere is the Namib Desert in sharper relief than at Klein-Aus Vista. Rocky mountains rise sheer into the cloudless sky and the grassy plains, dotted with acacias, pierce the horizon as far as the eye can see.

Klein-Aus Vista is about 120km east of Lüderitz on the southern edge of the Namib Naukluft Park. Accommodation comes in the form of large rooms at the Desert Horse Inn or self-contained chalets at Eagle's Nest, which is about 15 minutes away from the main lodge.

Eagle's Nest contemplates the vast emptiness of the Namib Desert from delightful chalets that are built into and around a large rocky outcrop. The chalets are built from local stone and they have an open-plan design with a cozy fireplace, a small kitchen, en suite bathroom and a private verandah. You can choose to do your own cooking or eat at the Desert Horse Restaurant.

Overlooking the private farm, the Desert Horse Inn comprises the main lodge, reception, restaurant and lively bar called The Wild Horse. Rooms are bright, cool and comfortable with en suite bathrooms, verandahs, mini bar and ceiling fans.
