Accommodation Description

Hobas Campsite is close to the main viewpoint of the Fish River Canyon - one of the world's largest - and is a convenient base camp for exploring the region.

To get to Hobas you drive through the Gondwana Cañon Nature Park and the campsite is at the entrance to the Fish River Canyon Park, 10km from the canyon's best viewpoint at Hell's Bend.

The camping sites are well shaded by trees and they have thatched gazebos. Each site has a picnic table, fireplace and water; despite the camp's popularity with large groups, the communal ablutions are usually clean.
