For the rest, you'll appreciate the air conditioning, river views, swimming pool and restaurant at Zambezi Lodge on the outskirts of Katima Mulilo - Caprivi's main town and bustling border post between Namibia and Zambia.

The lodge has a standard chain-hotel appearance with a strong Caprivi influence - tiled floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, an enormous swimming pool, and open-sided thatched lounge area. This last houses the restaurant and hotel bar - for when the floating one kicks you off at 9pm.
