Surrounded by the quiet contemplation of the Kwando River, the lodge is an enchanting feat of woodwork, built into the dense forest canopy and peeking out over the river, its floodplains and the Kalahari's savannah woodland.

The suites dwarf the massive four-posters and their amenities are worthy of a king: en suite double bathroom, lounge, bedroom, private deck and a sunken plunge pool. The main lodge is equally regal, built in and around the ancient trees and soaking in the splendid views, it has a convivial open fireplace and spacious lounge and dining areas.

Choose from game drives in the Bwabwata National Park where you could encounter elephant buffalo, leopard, sable and roan antelope, tsessebe, lechwe, lion, hyena and wild dog. Birding is understandably exceptional and area is home to several species of cuckoo, African hobby falcon, racket-tailed roller, narina trogon, coppery sunbird, Retz's red-billed helmet shrike and Bradfield's hornbill. On top of this you also have river cruises, bush walks, fishing, cultural tours on offer.
