Accommodation Description

Namushasha Lodge - as much a mouthful as its setting is an eyeful - rests in a state of timeless repose on the banks of the Kwando River, between the Caprivi Game Reserve and Mudumu National Park.

With 27 river-facing chalets, the lodge is large by local standards and the atmosphere is casual and friendly without unnecessary adornments or excess ceremony. Each chalet has a view over the river, an en suite bathroom and all-important mosquito nets to ensure a good night's rest after a long day's activity.

The living area, with equally sublime aspect, has a small pool, a glorious sun deck, a well-used bar and a restaurant serving a buffet spread. The area features lush riverine floodplains and a profusion of birds, semi-aquatic animals and plains game. For a more rustic approach, Namushasha Lodge also offers camp sites and full use of the main lodge.
