The Swakopmund Hotel is one of the town's best hotels. It is also the biggest. The sprawling complex is built around the town's original neo-Gothic railway station and houses the hotel with a large casino and entertainment centre.

The rooms open onto a courtyard with an enormous pool in the centre. The rooms have a modern veneer over a Victorian theme and each has an en suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryer, telephone and tea/coffee stations.
