Accommodation Description

One of only five places to stay in the park, Onkoshi Camp is the newest, most luxurious safari lodge inside Etosha National Park.

On the edge of Etosha Pan and accessible only by transfer from Namutoni Camp, Onkoshi Camp is way off the game-viewing route ensuring an exclusive Etosha safari experience.

Completed in September 2008, Onkoshi Camp follows the lead of new safari lodges throughout southern Africa: low-impact construction and renewable energy sources. The stilts upon which the lodge is raised offer a better view of the shimmering pan while reducing impact on the ground; retractable canvas sides and thatched roofs keep the rooms cool and the camp is assisted by solar power.

Onkoshi Camp has 15 double rooms, one being a honeymoon suite, all with luxurious furnishings, en suite bathrooms, French doors and a private balcony. The living area houses the restaurant, bar, lounge, swimming pool and game viewing deck.
