Onguma Treetop Camp
Price: From US$191 (Our pricing)
Location: Etosha National Park, Namibia
Accommodation Description
Onguma Treetop Camp is like a permanent game viewing hide at canopy level in a thicket of acacia trees overlooking a large waterhole.
But this is no wooden bench with a peephole through a musty wall of reeds. Treetop Camp, for all its rustic proximity to nature, is a high-class luxury safari ensemble that delivers both an exceptional game-viewing safari and exclusive luxury accommodation with total seclusion with more than a hint of excitement.
Raised on stilts, the four-roomed safari lodge is a few metres from a large waterhole in Onguma Private Reserve, which is on the edge of Etosha National Park. Connected by elevated walkways, the gnarled wooden construction, thatched roof and canvas sides are a quirky caricature of the Etosha wilderness.
Facilities
Fully inclusive accommodation; four large elevated suites with thatched roofs and tented sides; en suite bathrooms with open-air showers; private viewing deck overlooking the waterhole; lounge and dining area
