Onguma Treetop Camp is like a permanent game viewing hide at canopy level in a thicket of acacia trees overlooking a large waterhole.

But this is no wooden bench with a peephole through a musty wall of reeds. Treetop Camp, for all its rustic proximity to nature, is a high-class luxury safari ensemble that delivers both an exceptional game-viewing safari and exclusive luxury accommodation with total seclusion with more than a hint of excitement.

Raised on stilts, the four-roomed safari lodge is a few metres from a large waterhole in Onguma Private Reserve, which is on the edge of Etosha National Park. Connected by elevated walkways, the gnarled wooden construction, thatched roof and canvas sides are a quirky caricature of the Etosha wilderness.

Onguma Private Game Reserve is 200 sq km of African plains. Treetop Camp also offers guided day trips into Etosha Park.
