Andersson’s Camp is a paired down but nonetheless luxurious tented camp on the southern edge of Etosha National Park.
On the southern edge of Etosha National Park, Andersson's Camp is a comfortable Namibian safari experience operated by Wilderness Safaris - so you know quality is assured.
Focussed on being eco- sensitive Andersson's Camp offers something different – not only are the hot water geysers solar heated, but solar energy is used as often as possible around the lodge. The accommodation is classified as 'tented' although each room is actually a mixture of different materials from calcrete stone to wood, canvas and tin. Each en-suite bathroom is open to the sky which is an experience more pleasant than expected.
The restaurant and reception area overlooks a waterhole which draws large and small game throughout the day and into the evening. A large wooden deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your meals while looking out over the bushveld and the waterhole.
The staff at the camp are friendly and will help you organise day-trips into Etosha National Park, just down the road. You are not allowed in Etosha after sunset if you are not staying there, Andersson's Camp is the perfect alternative with night game drives as well as game walks – that is if you haven't already seen every animal already at the waterhole...
With only 20 rooms you are guaranteed some peace and quiet on your trip to Etosha and Andersson's Camp.
