Erongo Wilderness Lodge
For its beautiful setting, striking chalets and elegant style, Erongo Wilderness Lodge is a fine example of Namibian hospitality. Built in and around hulking granite rocks, the lodge features spectacular views of the Erongo Mountains, an exceptional wilderness encounter and a tranquil, refined atmosphere.
The ten tented chalets are built on raised wooden decks around large boulders; tented walls and a thatch roof cool the interiors, which have en suite bathrooms, enormous beds and an open-air shower.
The main lodge on another granite outcrop faces the valley; its verandah, pool and luxurious lounge overlook a waterhole and invite you to relax and soak up the peace. Dinner is a plated three-course meal with carefully selected wines and the fully stocked bar is always on hand.
Thatch-roofed tented chalets on stilts; en suite bathrooms; private deck; restaurant; lounge with large central fireplace; bar; swimming pool; waterhole; library; telephone, fax and internet at reception
