Patrick Manyika
Patrick charmed his way into our world with talk of singing Mokoros, talking hippos and an honours degree in marketing. Born and honed in Zimbabwe with a good few years' tourism experience under his hat, Patrick has made Namibia his new home and we are lucky to have him.
Patrick Tongai Manyika, born in Harare on the 23rd April 2009. He is the quietest of all consultant... Just smiles and agrees with everything.
He has lived most of his young life in Harare with both his parents, three sisters and one brother. A family of 7... 7th Humble Family in Harare, very close and yet so far apart. Patrick fond memory of his mum is that she cooks chicken every Christmas. He doesn't have any kids yet but he does plan to have a daughter one day. Patrick is the only child in his family who isn't married yet.
He studied Marketing and is holding a degree in International Marketing. He is also a good sportsmen and even holds some football certificates.
He was in awarded Sportsman of the Year 2000 in High School.
Patrick worked as a Marketing and Tour Consultant at UTC in Zimbabwe before moving to Namibia where he first worked as a Marketing Consultant before joining our office.
The Real Patrick...is very quiet, intelligent and hardworking. He has traveled all over the southern parts of Africa, i.e Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia.
His favourite destination in the world is Victoria Falls because he says it's the most amazing place to be and to have fun at. Victoria Falls makes him appreciate the beauty of nature. His favorite lodge in Namibia is Mowani Camp and in Botswana is Delta Camp
Patrick is allergic to peanuts and apples... once in high school he tried to impress a girl buy eating peanuts while knowing that he is allergic (the things guys do for girls).
He loves cooking but hates doing the dishes. He spends most of the evenings in front of the TV and then goes with the flow with any activities during the weekends.
Funny moment: The dude didn't know the difference between filter coffee and recoffee... the day he started working here, the very first day, Patrick wanted to make himself some coffee and instead of using recoffee...he used the filter coffee.... The expression on his face was priceless.
The day Patrick wins a million dollars...he said the would CHANGE HIMSELF AND THE WORLD. LOL....
